Masses to worry about as Frost-Dunne case descends into pre-hearing turmoil

One way or another, it was clear from this week's edition of The Sunday Times that horseracing has plenty to worry about.
There's the allegation by a young woman that she suffered bullying and physical threats in the weighing room, which is a cause of deeply profound concern for the sport, and there's the claim that the subject cannot now be given a fair examination by an impartial tribunal because details have been selectively leaked, and the leak may have come from the ruling body itself.
At least we have learned that the allegations made against Robbie Dunne by Bryony Frost are being dealt with by officialdom and have not quietly been dropped down the back of a filing cabinet. But they were evidently made more than a year ago and first reported in January, yet we are only just reaching the stage of a directions hearing, with the evidence to follow at a final hearing on some undetermined future date. As so often in the past, the BHA finds itself being asked if it could not possibly have moved a bit quicker.
