Keith Donoghue is convinced the real Inothewayurthinkin will stand up at Leopardstown next Sunday – a fitter, sharper and better version than the one he rode when beaten out of sight in the John Durkan Chase on his reappearance. 

The explosive winner of last season's Cheltenham Gold Cup has not won a race in Ireland for more than three years, but he is no bigger than 2-1 to end that drought on home soil in the eagerly awaited Savills Chase, in which a clash with dual winner of the race Galopin Des Champs could be on the cards. 

Inothewayurthinkin has won twice at the Cheltenham Festival, as well as a Grade 1 at Aintree in 2024, but his last success in Ireland came in November 2022, when he narrowly won a novice hurdle at Gowran Park.
