Pat Cooney, bet365 Rosallion was just okay at Newbury on his reappearance last month, but that was his first run for 11 months and on balance he's the best horse in the race. He’s also won both of his starts at Ascot, so is the most logical selection.

Adrian Galvin, Betfair There doesn’t seem to be much between the main protagonists, who all reoppose from the Lockinge. It might be worth siding with Lake Forest to spoil the party. He was second in the Commonwealth Cup here last year and, if his stamina holds up, could be dangerous with his turn of foot in the closing stages.

Peter Donohoe, BoyleSports In a competitive renewal I'd side with Rosallion. His comeback run in the Lockinge was a solid effort. He was caught wide without cover and away from most of the action. I think he could improve a lot for that outing.
