Karl Burke was the trainer to follow in the two-year-old races at last year's Royal Ascot, with Leovanni running away with the Queen Mary Stakes and Shareholder scorching to success in the Norfolk.
Expecting a repeat next week might be ambitious but there is no getting away from the strength Burke again holds in the juvenile division, with Queen Mary-bound Zelaina arguably the standout among a strong squad of two-year-olds.
But the Middleham maestro is far more than 'just' a trainer of precocious youngsters and his team for the royal meeting is punchy throughout, with older sprinters Night Raider and Elite Status ready to roll and plenty of confidence behind Duke of Cambridge-bound Fallen Angel.
