No half measures for Richard Hughes and his team as Group 1 celebrations continue at popular Lambourn pub
Liam Headd catches up with the landlord of Lambourn's racing pub after more Group 1 celebrations

Group 1 victories can generate all kinds of celebrations, but the most simple ideas are often the best ones. For Richard Hughes and his team, a trip to the local boozer was the perfect way to soak up a landmark occasion last Saturday.
Just hours after No Half Measures stormed to a shock 66-1 success in the July Cup at Newmarket, Hughes and his team found themselves back on home soil and revelling at the Wheelwright Arms, more commonly known as The Wheel, in Lambourn.
For Hughes it was a maiden top-level victory as a trainer, and for his team a culmination of all the hard work that has gone into the operation for the past ten years. They had every right to create jubilant scenes – which at one point included parading Hughes in the air by some of his staff.
