Fifth on debut in the Newbury maiden won by Confiding that is working out so well, Neverland Rock won over 7f at Newmarket next time out before finishing third in the Superlative Stakes over the same trip. Hannon reported that the colt didn't see out the trip on that occasion, and a drop back to six could await. He travelled better into the race than winner Quorto, so the move makes sense, and he should be winning some good races this season.
