Make your entries early to get ahead of the pack in £100,000 Tote Ten To Follow

In the era of the pithy catchphrase, the message from the Tote as the entry stage for its £100,000 Ten To Follow competition gets into full swing is "watch and learn" as the new season unfolds.
The entry window opened on Friday and closes at 11am on Tuesday, June 16, a few hours before the first races in the competition take place at Royal Ascot, but the list of candidates for players' teams will swell over the next two weeks as new talent emerges. These potential stars will be added to the competition and will be announced in the Racing Post as they are included.
Players who enter early will, however, be at an advantage as tied placings will be decided in order of date and time of entry and a new feature of the game allows entries to be amended up until deadline day.
Rob Painter, the Tote's chief marketing officer, said: "The message is to get the admin done, make a deposit and quickly select a draft stable. You then have two weeks in which to learn and amend, read the paper and fine tune."
As well as keeping readers informed with updates on horses entering the list, the Racing Post will give daily guidance from its experts on which horses to include. This starts on Tuesday with a four-page pullout featuring a guide to the 50 key contenders, some dark horses, how to enter the competition and advice from Racing Post betting editor Keith Melrose on how to win it.
Other game innovations for the Flat season include the ability to set up mini leagues between friends, and a 'pro mode' making it easier to create multiple stables.
The Racing Post newspaper is back in shops from Monday! With extensive coverage of all the racing, interviews with the biggest names, tipping from our renowned experts and all the cards and form, it's your unmissable guide to all the action. Don't forget to pick up your copy.
