When Paul Hanagan returned to his beloved north from Newmarket he sold his house to James Doyle, who also took on his driver. The weighing-room mickey-take is that it was only at the last minute Paul remembered to take the missus with him.
Doyle shares the house with girlfriend of five years Sami, daughter of Michael Kout traiettle, a solid pro lightweight jockey back in the late 60s and 70s.
Kettle started his working life at the Savoy, becoming head page before joining Staff Ingham at Epsom.
