It says something when the biggest rock star in town can't even headline his own Cheltenham concert and is instead forced to do a duet with an act who couldn't sell a record while he was belting out his first number-one single in 2016.

The week after Altior won the best Supreme Novices' Hurdle in recent memory, Tiger Roll was second in an all-weather maiden at Dundalk, beaten by a rival rated 62 who has won just one race since.

Fast forward three years and Altior wins a second Champion Chase to supplement his Supreme success and Arkle victory, but the record Cheltenham crowd gives just as raucous a reception to Tiger Roll after he gallops to a 22-length triumph in the Glenfarclas Cross County Chase.
