How did your link-up with Amy Murphy come about and can you believe how well it's going?
Amy leases a yard belonging to Michael Wigham, for whom I regularly ride. She was always going to make a bright start having had experience in some tops yards around the world and her father Paul is a shrewd breeder, so long may the good horses keep coming.

I also have loyal support from Amy, James Eustace and Nick Littmoden and anyone in town who wants me to ride a possible hurdler. The one difficulty is travelling. Racing and riding out – I go to Robin Dickin's once a week – means I do roughly 60,000 miles a year from Perth to Newton Abbot in my dependable two-litre Ford Focus.
