You run out of words. No really, you do. Not just superlatives either, all the other words too. What can you say about Willie Mullins that hasn't been said already? Let's have a go. Apologies if some of it is rehashed. 

For the second year in a row Mullins has done the double, dominating two nations at the same time. It took 70 years to emulate Vincent O'Brien by becoming the first Irishman to win the British jumps trainers' title last year. It took one year for Mullins to emulate himself.

The Closutton colossus has gone back to back, clawing back a £68,483 deficit on an epic final day at Sandown, despite not winning any of the championship races at the Cheltenham Festival, or the King George, or any Grade 1 race before the second Tuesday in March. Defending his British title was merely an afterthought.
