Tweaks to the fixture list for now, but more radical changes have to come

Nobody really expected much to change with next year's fixture list and in the circumstances nobody should really be disappointed that it hasn't.
But if it is deja vu all over again on this day in 2023, that really will be time to worry.
The fixture list for next year is strikingly similar to this year's programme bar a handful of tweaks, notably allowing decent breaks for riders and a welcome initiative to maximise off-course betting turnover through the shrewd deployment of extra floodlit cards.
