Olly Murphy is hoping to match quantity with quality in the coming years after helping to propel Sean Bowen to a first jump jockeys' championship at Sandown on Saturday.

Both men have enjoyed career-best seasons over the past 12 months, with Murphy providing Bowen with 103 of his 180 winners including Resplendent Grey, winner of Saturday's bet365 Gold Cup.

Murphy finished in fifth position in the British jumps trainers' championship, with an astonishing 25 per cent strike-rate courtesy of 141 winners from 570 runners, and he has set his sights on finding Grade 1 horses to continue his own rise and to keep Bowen at the top.
