Nicky Henderson has Jonbon in the 'perfect place' to join the elite in Tingle Creek Chase - and believes even better is to come

Nicky Henderson is confident Jonbon is in perfect condition for Saturday's Betfair Tingle Creek Chase (3.00), and the six-time champion trainer believes the best may be yet to come from Britain's leading two-mile chaser.
The JP McManus-owned eight-year-old dazzled in the Sandown showpiece last year and is odds-on to win successive runnings of the Grade 1. Victory would make him the first to complete that feat since the great Kauto Star 18 years ago, with Moscow Flyer and Flagship Uberalles among the other legendary two-milers to have won consecutive Tingle Creeks.
As he did last year, Jonbon warmed up for the assignment with victory in the Shloer Chase at Cheltenham's November meeting and Henderson believes that has put him spot on again.
