'He's in the same form as when he won at Cheltenham' - Leenders in bullish mood for Gold Tweet's Betfair Chase raid

Confidence is growing that Gold Tweet can make it two high-profile British successes in as many weeks for French trainer Gabriel Leenders in Saturday's Grade 1 Betfair Chase.
Leenders sent out Sweet David to land a chaotic Glenfarclas Cross Country Chase at Cheltenham last Friday and believes that Gold Tweet may be able to profit from a potential fitness edge over his Anglo-Irish rivals after two warm-up races at Auteuil this autumn.
The versatile seven-year-old made an instant impact on his British debut when storming to victory in the 2023 Cleeve Hurdle, a performance he was unable to repeat in that season's Stayers' Hurdle at the Cheltenham Festival when set plenty to do off a steady pace.
