Haydock's Peter Marsh Chase card to go ahead after track passes morning inspection

Haydock's Sky Bet Peter Marsh Chase (2.30) card has received the green light following a morning inspection.
The threat of temperatures dropping below freezing overnight led to officials calling a raceday check, but the track was raceable and frost free at 8am. Conditions will continue to be monitored before frost covers are removed in the vulnerable areas of the course.
Alongside Haydock, racing is also scheduled to take place at Ascot, Navan, Taunton, Lingfield and Wolverhampton on Saturday with no problems anticipated.
