'I couldn't believe he was 14-1' - Johnny and DJ for once both strongly agree on their Arc fancy
The Upping The Ante stars provide their main plays for one of the biggest weekends of the whole year

How did last weekend go – did you win or lose?
Johnny Dineen: It was up and down. That Danny Feeling came to my rescue in the concluding bumper at Listowel on Saturday, but my main play on Sunday was the Aidan O'Brien-trained Cape Cod, who lacked a change of gear and could only finish second in the opening maiden at the Curragh. I also got caught with Amelia Earhart each-way in the Group 3 later on the card and of course she finished fourth. That was, would you believe, my fourth dance with Amelia Earhart this season and, one thing is for sure, I won’t be taking her out on the floor ever again. We're done!
David Jennings: Bow Echo and Wise Approach meant it was a reasonably decent Saturday, but Gwen John disappointed me in the nursery at Newmarket. She was very easy to back beforehand and ran accordingly.
Who wins the Arc?
DJ: It's Sosie for me. I know he was a beaten favourite in last year's Arc, but this year's race looks weaker and he had a beautiful prep in the Prix Foy, where he erased the memory of that Eclipse horror show. He's got the perfect draw, handles the ground and has a lot less questions to answer than some of those above him in the market. I thought the 14-1 available during the week was a huge price and even the 10-1 on offer now seems generous. Kalpana is the one I fear most.
