'I've really come round to this horse in the Greatwood - he goes well fresh and double-figure odds remain value'
The Upping The Ante stars with their main plays for a big weekend

How did last weekend go – did you win or lose?
Johnny Dineen: It couldn't have begun any worse, backing a loser in the 10.45am at Kelso on Saturday and that set the tone for a terrible time. I put my punting boots away midway through the day as I had reached my limit. It was as bad a day as I have had in quite some time. I registered a very minor profit on Sunday, but didn't get in any way heavily involved. Maybe it's the fact that I'm getting older but a bit like alcohol, the hangovers from a bad day's punting are no longer as easy to shake off as they used to be.
David Jennings: Castle Cove came to the rescue. He was my nap on this page and came from last to first up the Donny home straight to win the November Handicap convincingly. It was a well-judged ride from Jason Hart. I went from cursing him to knighting him in the space of about 20 seconds.
Who wins the Paddy Power Gold Cup?
DJ: It looks a tame imitation of the race we used to adore and for that reason Es Perfecto might be the one to side with. He ran a big race behind Caldwell Potter at the festival and I also liked his run first time out behind Ginny's Destiny over this course and distance the year before last. It sounds as though this has been the plan for ages by listening to Alan King and 16-1 seems a decent price to me.
