Swansea need to target a big victory to have any hope of a miraculous escape but they are unlikely to get their wish against a stubborn Stoke side determined to keep their pride intact.

The Swans looked resigned to their fate towards the end of the 1-0 loss to Southampton on Tuesday and their predicament worsened 24 hours later when Huddersfield drew 1-1 at Chelsea.

Swans boss Carlos Carvalhal is set to depart and the Portuguese may be denied a winning send-off by a Potters side battling to climb off the bottom.
