The Monday Night Football spotlight is probably not what Seattle would have wanted after losing five of their last six games, and things could get even worse when they venture to Washington.

Seattle's win in that run was over 2-8 Jacksonville, so that doesn't count for much, but they have only one more victory themselves this season, and their poor 3-7 record would have been unthinkable for much of Pete Carroll's successful reign as their head coach.

Their fixture list does ease up for the rest of the season, and their defeats were all to teams with playoff aspirations, but they don't have the ability to survive any more losses. QB Russell Wilson missed games with a finger injury but even with him last week they lost to Arizona, who were led by their own backup passer, Colt McCoy.

With a record of 4-6, Washington will struggle to repeat last season’s playoff performance but the Football Team have beaten Tampa Bay and Carolina in their last two games.

Confidence should be rising and there has finally been some improvement from a defence that was supposed to be among the league's best this season, but disappointed early on.

Washington are worth backing to continue their revival with a home win. It could be a scrappy contest, though, and with Seattle having a 1-8-1 over/under record this year - the tie came when the line was just 43 points - going under again is also advised.
