Thursday Night Football sees two teams from the NFC East lock horns with the New York Giants taking on the Washington Football team in what looks likely to be a low-scoring affair.

Neither team is known for their dominance on offense, but they do boast mean defenses that can cause opposing quarterbacks problems. That could be bad news for Washington, who will be starting backup QB Taylor Heinicke after Ryan Fitzpatrick got injured.

Heinicke’s play was very conservative when he came in against the Chargers last Sunday, and a repeat of that approach is likely given he is playing on a short week.

As for the Giants, signal-caller Daniel Jones’s turnover problems continued against the Broncos and he is likely in for another rough day against this vicious Football Team pass-rush.

New York’s offensive line has been a problem area for some time and that should result in Jones being sacked or forced into making mistakes.

These teams are renowned for contesting low-scoring games - the under has cashed in the Giants’ last nine games and in ten of Washington’s last 11 on grass - and this should be another where points are at a premium.
