Match preview
Kansas City Chiefs moved to 4-0 with their 26-10 victory over the New England Patriots on Monday and they face a short turnaround for their AFC West showdown against the Las Vegas Raiders.
Arrowhead Stadium has not been a happy hunting ground for the Raiders in recent times and they have lost their last two games there by a combined score of 75-12.
Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes was the architect of those thrashings and Las Vegas will be desperate to keep the ball out of his hands.
The Raiders' ground game should help them retain possession, but they may struggle to put up points against a defence who have yet to concede more than 20 points in a game. With the Chiefs offence not yet at their explosive best, it might pay to go under the total-points line.
Key stats
- The Chiefs have won nine of their last ten meetings with the Raiders.
- Thirteen of the Raiders’ last 16 visits to Kansas City have finished under the points line.
- Kansas City have won their last 13 games.
Indianapolis Colts at Cleveland Browns
Where to watch
Sky Sports NFL, 9.25pm Sunday
Best bet
Under 47 points
2pts 20-21 Betfred
Match preview
Two teams on three-game winning streaks face off with the Cleveland Browns riding high after scoring 49 points in last week’s win over Dallas. They should have a tougher time putting up points this week though as the Indianapolis Colts defence is ranked first in the NFL.
The Colts have allowed 11, seven and 11 points in the last three weeks and none of their games this year have produced more than 47 points.
Cleveland will look to grind down that stout defence with their rushing attack, which is averaging over 200 yards per game but will be missing top man Nick Chubb (knee) this week. With neither team asking their quarterbacks to sling the ball freely, it could be a low-scoring encounter.
Key stats
- None of the Colts' four games this season have produced more than 47 points.
- Indianapolis have won their last five games at Cleveland.
- Cleveland are averaging a league-best 204.4 rushing yards per game.
Minnesota Vikings at Seattle Seahawks
Where to watch
Sky Sports NFL & Sky Sports Main Event, 1.20am Sunday night
Best bet
Over 287.5 Russell Wilson passing yards
3pts 5-6 BoyleSports
Match preview
The Seattle Seahawks offence should keep up their record of scoring 30 or more points in every game this season when they host a Minnesota Vikings side who have struggled against the pass.
The Vikings got their first win of the year against Houston last week despite giving up 300 passing yards to DeShaun Watson.
The Minnesota defence must fear the worst as they go up against the league’s most in-form quarterback, Russell Wilson.
Wilson is on pace for a record-breaking season having already thrown 16 touchdown passes, while he has surpassed 300 passing yards three times in four games. Against this secondary, he looks poised to have another monster game.
Key stats
- Only one of the last eight games between Seattle and Minnesota has featured 50 or more points.
- Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson has a 6-0 record against the Vikings.
- Seattle have covered the handicap in all four of their games this season.
