NFC North champions Minnesota Vikings head to Lambeau Field to take on their divisional rivals the Green Bay Packers, and the Vikings should at least be able to cover the spread on this road trip.

The Vikings have already wrapped up the division, but they can effectively eliminate the Packers from playoff contention here, and that should be all the motivation Minnesota need to cover the spread and potentially win this game outright.

The Packers have won each of their last three games, but they aren’t the force of old just yet. After all, two of those victories came against the Bears and Rams – two of the weakest teams in the league – while their Christmas Day win over the Dolphins was largely because of Miami quarterback Tua Tagovailoa competing while injured.

Going from playing those teams to the 12-3 Vikings is a major step up in competition, and Minnesota will be looking to ride a wave of momentum into the playoffs. The Vikings recently had the biggest comeback win in history against the Colts and followed that up with a tough win over the Giants.

Minnesota continue to be doubted by oddsmakers but they keep doing the business. Quarterback Kirk Cousins and wide receiver Justin Jefferson have arguably one of the best partnerships in the league, and should be able to carve up a Packers defence who have allowed the sixth-most passing yards per attempt.

Go with the Vikings to at least keep this within a field goal, although there’s a decent chance they will win the game anyway.
