Monday Night Football comes from Indianapolis as the Colts host the LA Chargers, and the visitors are likely to prove too much to handle.

A disastrous season hit a new low for the Colts last week when they were on the wrong end of the NFL's biggest-ever comeback, blowing a 33-0 lead to lose to the Minnesota Vikings in overtime.

That defeat will no doubt have badly affected the team’s morale and they must also cope without star running back Jonathan Taylor, who was placed on injured reserve last week.

But that isn’t all the Colts have to deal with. Interim head coach Jeff Saturday has also made the decision to bench Matt Ryan and start Nick Foles at quarterback, and it will be interesting to see how the team cope with such substantial changes in both the passing and running game.

All things considered, things are unlikely to work out well for them against a Chargers team who are putting together a successful run.

Los Angeles edged the Tennessee Titans late last week to improve to an 8-6 record, and have now beaten Tennessee and Miami in back-to-back weeks. The Chargers are slowly getting healthier after some issues with key individuals, and signal-caller Justin Herbert is playing as hot as he usually does.

LA know they have a golden opportunity to further cement their place in the playoffs and it’s hard to see them being troubled by a Colts team who are in full crisis mode. Take the Chargers to cover the handicap and expect them to win by at least a touchdown.
