Match preview
The playoff picture in the NFC is looking quite straightforward with most teams having four games of the regular season remaining and Monday Night Football combatants Seattle and Minnesota are in the thick of the battle.
Their respective duels with San Francisco and Green Bay for divisional honours could go all the way to Week 17 but the MNF victor would receive a massive boost and that could lead to a cagey affair at CenturyLink Field.
Both sides are on excellent runs.
Minnesota won six of seven matches before last week's bye while Seattle claimed a fourth success on the spin at Philadelphia.
Seattle's home form on the Pacific west coast has always been considered a fortress and there is little shame in having lost to New Orleans and Baltimore on their own patch this season, while all three of Minnesota's losses have come on the road.
But this is a clash where defences could get out on top.
Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson has had an inspired season but it was on the other side of the ball where they made progress against the Eagles last time out, a match in which they forced five crucial turnovers.
Minnesota, meanwhile, should be relied upon to keep the Seattle running game in check, which means it may take a while for the game to get going.
Mistakes could be costly and therefore the play may consequently be cautious, even though its five games since Vikings QB Kirk Cousins threw an interception.
It is likely to be scrappy, which makes a total-points line of 50.5 appear to be on the high side.
