Match preview

The Buffalo Bills boast a 6-3 record but they look overrated for Sunday's game against the Colts.

Buffalo have enjoyed an extremely soft schedule, arguably the easiest in the NFL. They have had one big win over the Chiefs early in the year, but that's about it. The next-best win on their record was against 3-6 Washington which tells you all you need to know about the quality of teams they've been playing.

The Bills have also suffered an embarrassing loss to the Jaguars, and made Jacksonville's lacklustre defence look like the all-conquering 1985 Chicago Bears.

Buffalo can be susceptible to the run, and that plays right into what the Colts want to do. Indianapolis will keep things on the ground with Jonathan Taylor, who has looked like the best running back in the league this year, in their ranks.

The Colts got off to a slow start, but that was because of a tough schedule and a raft of injuries. They are in much better shape now and have won five of their past seven games.

Both of their losses in that run came in overtime - to very good Ravens and Titans teams - so they could easily be entering this week on a run of seven straight victories.

Buffalo will be without starting right tackle Spencer Brown on Sunday, which is a big loss for an offensive line who have struggled recently.

Back the Colts with a decent handicap start, and more adventurous punters could consider them being worth a nibble at 11-4 on the match-betting coupon.
