Having missed Newcastle's 3-3 draw with Brentford last weekend due to illness, new Magpies boss Eddie Howe will be in the dugout for what promises to be another entertaining Premier League contest away to Arsenal.

Marcelo Bielsa takes his struggling Leeds side to Brighton in the 5.30pm game and the 3pm kick-offs include a clash between Liverpool, the highest scorers in the top flight, and Southampton, who have found the net only 11 times in 12 games this term.

Today's best accumulator bets

Bets to be placed by 3pm

Swansea to beat Reading

Burton to beat Doncaster

Portsmouth to beat Gillingham

MK Dons to beat Morecambe

Swansea are on the up while visitors Reading have lost five of their last seven in the Championship and Doncaster's League One woes look set to continue at Burton.

Also in the third division, rejuvenated Portsmouth can see off injury-hit hosts Gillingham and MK Dons should take advantage of a leaky Morecambe defence in a fourfold that returns better than 11-1 with William Hill.

Brighton v Leeds

Sky Sports Premier League & Main Event, 5.30pm Saturday

Brighton were unfortunate to lose at Aston Villa last weekend and they can claim maximum points against a Leeds side who start the day one place above the relegation zone and are still missing key striker Patrick Bamford.

Preston v Fulham

Sky Sports Football & Main Event, 12.30pm Saturday

Championship leaders Fulham were held to a 0-0 draw by Derby in midweek but they had 21 shots at goal to the Rams' four and should get back to winning ways against mid-table Preston.

Bet of the day

Barcelona to beat Villarreal LaLigaTV, 8pm Saturday

Barcelona's performances have been improving under new coach Xavi and they are an attractive price to win at Villarreal, who were beaten at home by Manchester United in the Champions League on Tuesday and have won only three times in La Liga this term.

Player shots bet of the day

Crystal Palace v Aston Villa 3pm Saturday

Crystal Palace have allowed more shots from set-piece situations than any other team in the Premier League this season and Villa defender Tyrone Mings, who scored in last weekend's win over Brighton, is worth backing at 4-1 with Betfair and Paddy Power to have at least one effort on target.
