Willie Mullins has high hopes for JP McManus-owned son of Annie Power who 'could be a proper one'

Willie Mullins was blown away by the manner of Davy Crockett's recent win at Galway and thinks he has the potential to go right to the top over hurdles.
The four-year-old is a son of Camelot and Champion Hurdle heroine Annie Power, making him a half-brother to Mystical Power, and he followed in the footsteps of his well-known sibling by winning the opening novice hurdle of the Galway Races.
Now Mullins has a bit of a dilemma. He has the option of a few upcoming novice hurdles at the likes of Listowel, or he could give Davy Crockett a break and come back for a winter campaign. The record-breaking champion trainer is leaning towards the latter option at this stage.
