International exploits in America and Czech Republic recognised as nominees for HRI awards revealed

The international exploits of Willie Mullins, Donnacha O'Brien and Keith Donoghue are among the stellar achievements being recognised among the nominations for honours at the 2025 Horse Racing Ireland (HRI) awards, the winners of which will be announced in Dublin on December 8.
The Flat achievement award features Royal Ascot-winning trainer Joseph Murphy and Derby-winning jockey Wayne Lordan, while Ronan Whelan, Adrian Murray, Donnacha O'Brien and Willie Mullins are also in contention.
Grand National-winning rider Patrick Mullins, Velka Pardubicka-winning jockey Keith Donoghue, Cian Collins, Danny Gilligan, champion conditional Tiernan Power Roche and Eoin McCarthy, the leading trainer at the Listowel harvest festival, are shortlisted for the National Hunt achievement award.
The National Hunt award features trainers Willie Mullins, Gavin Cromwell, Barry Connell and Gordon Elliott, while champion jockey Paul Townend, Mark Walsh and Sam Ewing are also nominated.
Irish champion Flat jockey Dylan Browne McMonagle and Colin Keane are in contention for the Flat award, along with champion trainer Aidan O'Brien, Joseph O'Brien, Johnny Murtagh and Paddy Twomey.
Champion apprentice Wayne Hassett, Nicola Burns, Robert Whearty, Jack Cleary and David Doyle are on the shortlist for the emerging talent award, along with trainers Stephen Thorne and Ian Donoghue.
Champion trainer Colin Bowe and champion rider Barry O'Neill are among those shortlisted for the point-to-point award.
