Nap of the day: the best horse racing tips from the day's six meetings on Wednesday, October 1

Bellewstown

3.58: Escaping Thejungle

Last year's winner Escaping Thejungle saves her best for this track and she can follow up her August C&D win off the same mark. Emerald Harmony and Aurora Nova, who was close up behind the selection here in August, have both won over C&D too and they may prove to be the biggest dangers, though latter ran poorly at Cork on Tuesday.

Catterick

4.50: Draupnir

There should be more to come from course and distance winner Kirkdale and he returns with his stable going well. Tim Easterby saddles two respected contenders in Vince Le Prince (second choice) and Sunny Orange but Draupnir created a positive impression at Thirsk 16 days ago and can defy a 5lb rise.

Kempton

6.30: Rogue Impact

The consistent Gaassee is respected, alongside the progressive three-year-olds Port Of London and Elsass. Power Of Destiny (second choice) looks interesting back off the same mark as when winning over course and distance last November, but it may be worth siding with Rogue Impact on his return to the all-weather, with the form of his Lingfield maiden win in April having worked out so well.

Musselburgh

4.05: Arnhem

Zarzyni is still feasibly weighted but his overall record doesn't smack of one likely to follow up a recent success. Acrisius (second choice) still has a bit of potential after just 11 starts and he should appreciate the return to a sounder surface but Jim Goldie could hold the aces. Jm Jhingree has more to do than when winning at Hamilton on Monday and Arnhem could be the answer. He had tumbled down the weights before joining the stable and a repeat of either of his two runs last month would probably suffice. Ziggy's Triton is another to consider after his fine run at Southwell on Monday.

Sligo

2.25: Addragoole

Having bumped into a smart winner on his second chase start at Galway last time, Addragoole doesn't face anything of that calibre today and can go one better. Jet Setting Jim was running well when falling at Galway last time and can be a player if jumping better. Sporting Glory is the most interesting of the chasing debutants.

Warwick

4.28: Arqoob

A tight handicap in which none of the five can be dismissed. The blinkers have triggered a return to form on the Flat for Arqoob and he returns to hurdling off a useful mark. Crystal Glance was coming along very nicely earlier this year and she's feared most ahead of Mostly Sunny.
