Nap of the day: the best horse racing tips from the day's seven meetings on Saturday, October 11

Chepstow
3.20: French Ship
Last year's winner Josh The Boss is back on a good mark and likely to have been primed for a big run but FRENCH SHIP was a useful and promising novice last season, and he could turn out to be well treated on this handicap debut. Royal Infantry has a similar profile to the selection and is next on the list, while Sign Again is also unexposed.
Chris Wilson
Fairyhouse
4.05: High Notions
There was plenty to like about HIGH NOTIONS's debut effort at Ballinrobe and she may be able to get her head in front stepped up in trip. Noble Name, whose half-sister won this for Claire O'Connell last year, could prove to be the main danger. Apples Jane and Whitewinewednesday have place claims and the nicely bred newcomers Susie Lenglen and Lisnacurra Diamond are worth checking in the market.
Dave Stephens
Hexham
4.55: Ballydangan
Top of the list is BALLYDANGAN who has won two of his last three starts including a runaway success in a similar race here last week. He's open to more progress as a chaser and can strike again to make it 3-4 over C&D. Sean Og, who was a close second at Perth two weeks ago, is feared most ahead of the admirable veteran Easy Bucks. Others who could have a say are Ribeye and chase debutante Fox's Fancy.
David Moon
Naas
5.00: Therewillbeglory
With cheekpieces added, THEREWILLBEGLORY gets the vote to end a sequence of seconds by upholding Navan form with Tea Rose, who could be a major threat over this shorter trip. There is not much between Treasure Rose and Dolly Hello on Fairyhouse running.
Alan Sweetman
Newmarket
3.40: Fireblade
The last seven winners came from jumps-based yards and six were trained in Ireland. Manxman so nearly upset those trends last year, however, when beaten a nose by Alphonse Le Grande on the other side of the track. Those two are leading contenders one year on, with a possibility of good to firm ground the niggling worry for Manxman, though, as it is for Surrey Belle who otherwise makes major appeal. Irish flagbearer Willie Mullins enlisted William Buick for the Ebor win in August and does so again here, this time for Bunting (one of three interesting runners for the yard) who is unexposed on the Flat and shaped well last time. Reverend Hubert is another Irish challenger who demands a mention, having won the Cesarewitch Trial by 8l off just 4lb lower. Beylerbeyi goes from strength to strength but needs to settle over the new trip and the pick of the home team may therefore be FIREBLADE, who gave his most assured 2m performance last time out and can now hit a new high at 2m2f. He may well be the one to emerge on top, with Surrey Belle feared most, followed by Alphonse Le Grande.
Richard Austen
Wolverhampton
6.20: Hasiyna
Good Earth retains enough ability to command serious respect off his lowly AW mark, while Sioux Warrior will appreciate the return to Class 6 company and Fletchers Dream (second choice) still looks feasibly weighted. However, HASIYNA may well find this more suitable than some of the competitive sprint handicaps she has been tackling in Ireland though and she gets the nod.
Paul Smith
York
2.05: Champagne Prince
Having led at the furlong pole before fading into fifth over 1m4f here at the Ebor meeting, CHAMPAGNE PRINCE can capitalise on the drop back in trip. He also has a more attractive draw this time. Topweight Grey Cuban is another who can be suited by the drop back in distance and this front-runner may face minimal competition for the lead, despite the sizeable field. He's the choice for the forecast ahead of Albany, who was disappointing last time but narrowly denied by a well-handicapped winner here in July. The improving 4yo Per Contra could go well once more, while Erzindjan has to be in calculations after his eyecatching fourth in the Cambridgeshire.
