Today's testing ground will be a big positive for STATION X, who won nurseries on heavy and soft going last autumn, and he can return to winning ways. Topweight Mister Sketch was a close third on heavy ground at Salisbury last time and may be the main danger ahead of Wobwobwob, who will also be at home in the conditions. Woven and Lord Bertie are other possible players.

This would be the easiest assignment for MOE'S LEGACY since the latest of her three 2025 C&D successes, the margin of defeat in a Class 4 here last time doing her a significant disservice.  The predominantly dry forecast is all to the good and she's marginally preferred to Silver Wraith, for whom the drop back from last time's 6f looks wise.
