Nap of the day: the best horse racing tips from the day's four meetings on Sunday, September 28

Curragh

1.30: Cape Cod

Having produced a much-improved effort when a close third over 1m at Punchestown last time, Cape Cod can get off the mark over this longer trip. The other rivals with form have a bit to find, with South Island looking the best even though he was disappointing last time. A €140,000 yearling, Sharkeyboy is the most interesting of the debutants.

Epsom

3.30 Give It To Me Oj

Being still well-handicapped judged on hurdles ability and open to further progress under this code, Give It To Me Oj looks capable of following up his solid C&D success. Team Player and Naasma are respected in their current form, while Way Of Life is also in the mix.

Ffos Las

3.40 Fifty Sent

Change Of Fortune is in good form and should be involved but Fifty Sent made it two wins from his last four starts when coming clear over C&D on soft ground last month and he looks the one to beat. Unforgetable Belle may be best of the remainder, although Vellner has a good run in him off his current mark if writing off a disappointing effort last time out.

Newcastle

6.45 Superposition

A few of these, notably Oliver Show and Akkadian Thunder, would benefit from a strong pace, but that doesn't seem assured. Movie Maker still has potential, while Heathcliff and the stable debutant The Wizard Of Eye also have something to recommend them.  Superposition might be the answer though, with his latest fourth a much better effort than a 3l defeat might indicate. He could enjoy a tactical advantage here too, and he remains capable of better on AW.
