Charlie Huggins has tipped an 11-4 winner and has one more horse racing selection to back at Sedgefield

Three horses to include in a treble on Monday . . .
Mordred (3.05 Sedgefield)
Made a successful chasing debut at this track in September 2022 and returns for the first time since at a similar time in the season. Mordred is rated only 4lb higher than that win, when he beat Cawthorne by three and a quarter lengths and the runner-up went one better off the same mark on his next start when scoring by seven and a half lengths. More recently, Mordred was upsides the progressive Beat Box jumping the last at Newton Abbot last month, when a shuddering mistake cost him. Beat Box has won twice since to complete a four-timer and while a 3lb rise as a result of this for Mordred is not ideal, he should have enough in hand to go one better here.
Lord Accord (3.40 Sedgefield)
Stayed on to finish third off this mark at Uttoxeter last time, suggesting that this extra 3½f will suit. The fourth-placed Bucko’s Boy was beaten only a short head in a more valuable race since and the form of Lord Accord’s penultimate start at the same venue has also been boosted. The selection finished a place behind Wonderwall, who went on to be beaten only a neck in Cartmel’s £35,650 Cumbria Crystal Cup. The nine-year-old is rated 11lb lower than his last winning mark over hurdles and the fact Neil Mulholland sends him on his own to be his first runner of the season at the track is noteworthy. Two of the three horses who made the near 600-mile round trip from the trainer’s Wiltshire yard last season won. A winner over fences at Cheltenham’s October meeting in 2022 and sixth in the Grade 2 Cleeve Hurdle at the same course later that season, Lord Accord is the class angle and all of his best form is on good ground — which he gets here.
Lowlands (5.20 Sedgefield)
Receives upwards of 5lb from her rivals, with the exception of Saxon Star, and the form of her debut fourth at Uttoxeter has worked out well. Lowlands was beaten only four lengths by Cabra Lady, who has since made a successful hurdling debut at Perth. The runner-up, Blackwater Lilly, was half a length away from going one better on her sole start since, while the eighth-placed Pure Seduction has subsequently won over hurdles.
