The Punt Acca: James Hill with three fancies at Plumpton on Monday

Avada Kedavra (2.00 Plumpton)

David Bridgwater's progressive six-year-old got off at Taunton last time. He's up 6lb for that, but that is still 2lb lower than his initial mark, while he ran well on his only previous start at Plumpton when third on his racecourse debut in November 2023. The step up a furlong should also suit (dam a full sister to Gold Cup winner Bobs Worth) so there's plenty in his favour.

Angel's Dream (2.30 Plumpton)

Angel's Dream needs to return to form here, but there's every chance he can. He's back at Plumpton, where he's recorded his two career-best RPRs, and he's just 1lb above his last winning mark with the talented Freddie Mitchell taking off 3lb. The step up in trip's a question mark, but Plumpton on decent ground won't take much getting.

Duhallow Tommy (3.00 Plumpton)

Duhallow Tommy returns to hurdles here as he drops in class at his favourite venue. His mark over the smaller obstacles is 5lb lower and 7lb off his last winning mark. He hasn't won since March 2024, but if he is going to get back on the winning trail, Plumpton is the venue to try. He's three wins and two thirds from five starts at the Sussex track.
