'He was a huge eyecatcher and looks well treated' - Harry Wilson with his tips for every ITV race on Saturday
Our tipster marks your card for the ITV action at Newcastle, York and the Curragh

Harry Wilson returns with his advice for all nine races live on ITV from Newcastle, York and the Curragh on Saturday
1.40 Newcastle
JenningsBet 200 Shops Nationwide Handicap, 6f
Harry's tip: Pocklington
Pocklington won his first two starts over course and distance last year, latterly seeing off Army Ethos, who had been beaten just a neck in the previous year's Coventry. He may have been flattered by the bare form, but didn't look out of place in Listed company next time and was thought good enough to run in the Commonwealth Cup. He was a huge eyecatcher on his handicap debut at York's Ebor meeting last year, staying on powerfully in the closing stages to be beaten just three lengths having looked outpaced at the back. Given that was over 5½f, the return to this distance should suit, and his half-brother Doctor Khan Junior achieved his best figures on Tapeta so he could have more to come back on the all-weather.
1.55 York
Al Basti Equiworld Dubai Mile Handicap, 1m
Harry's tip: Archivist
Archivist has been unlucky to bump into plenty of good horses in maidens and novices. He didn’t get a clear run on his debut behind the now 101-rated Seraph Gabriel before filling the runner-up spot behind subsequent Zetland Stakes winner Starzintheireyes, Group 1 Futurity Trophy fourth Seaplane and Listed scorer Smoken on his next three starts for Sir Michael Stoute. He ran an encouraging stable debut for William Haggas at Nottingham in April, finding traffic by the far rail at a crucial stage before finishing quickly when getting out, and finally ended his seconditis with a commanding victory at Leicester this month. He’s bred to be smart, being by Dubawi out of a useful winning Galileo mare, and should make an impact in handicaps.
2.10 Newcastle
JenningsBet Chipchase Stakes (Group 3), 6f
Harry's tip: Alyanaabi
Alyanaabi looked to have got his career back on track with a dominant victory in the Spring Trophy at Haydock last month, but he couldn't back that up in the John of Gaunt Stakes at the same track three weeks later. He chased a strong pace that day, though, and seems to run his best races on faster surfaces, so I'm happy to give him another chance. He looks worth a go over 6f on a stiff track like this and could find further improvement for the fitting of blinkers.

2.25 York
Al Basti Equiworld Dubai Criterion Stakes (Group 3), 7f
Harry's tip: Paborus
Lake Forest is going to prove popular after finishing fifth in the Queen Anne, but he was staying on in that mile contest and also needed all of the 7½f to beat sprinter Lazzat in Australia, so dropping in trip on a speed-favouring track may not be ideal. I'll take him on with Paborus, who hinted at his potential when romping home from a decent field of handicappers at Southwell in October. He proved even better after a break in a conditions event at Thirsk last time, travelling strongly and making short work of strong opposition in the manner of one with plenty more to come. He recorded a Racing Post Rating of 117 that day, which doesn’t leave him with a lot to find, and he can take the step up into Group company in his stride.
2.40 Newcastle
JenningsBet Festival Northumberland Vase Handicap, 2m½f
Harry's tip: Humble Spark
Humble Spark has spent most of his career over 1m2f-1m4f, and on first glance didn't look to completely see out 1m6f at Southwell in April, but that race was run in a course record time and the three in front of him have advertised the form since. The progressive winner has won twice subsequently and finished second at Royal Ascot, while the second landed the Chester Plate and the third won next time before chasing home a subsequent Royal Ascot winner. He was a huge eyecatcher in the All-Weather Championships Marathon, as he raced wide throughout but looked to be coming through with a challenge before being badly hampered, and he produced a career-best RPR on turf when trying 2m for just the second time last month. He looks well treated off just 1lb higher returning to the all-weather.
3.00 York
Al Basti Equiworld Dubai Dash Handicap, 5f
Harry's tip: Democracy Dilemma
Democracy Dilemma has four and a quarter lengths to find with Jm Jungle from their clash in the Dash last time, but he's well suited by York and is feasibly treated on last year's form. His two starts here saw him finish two lengths behind subsequent Group 1 winner Starlust in a Listed event and be beaten just a length by Jm Jungle in a handicap on 15lb worse terms than he meets him on here. Tom Eaves, who landed the Beverley Bullet on his sole ride on Democracy Dilemma, could make the difference in the saddle.
3.15 Newcastle
JenningsBet Northumberland Plate Handicap, 2m½f
Harry's tip: Dancing In Paris
All-weather form has been a good pointer to success in this contest and the one who appeals most is Dancing In Paris, who beat favourite Who's Glen by a length and three-quarters at Southwell last year and is 16lb better off with that rival here. His only other start on Tapeta saw him finish fourth in a 1m4½f handicap here last month, an effort that can be upgraded as that was his first start in 198 days, and he made his move towards the centre of the track while the stands' rail was the place to be. He was beaten just half a length in third behind subsequent Copper Horse Stakes winner French Master at Goodwood last time despite not getting the clearest of runs and this 2lb higher mark looks workable, while he is more unexposed at the trip than a lot of his rivals.
3.30 Curragh
Paddy Power Pretty Polly Stakes (Group 1), 1m2f
Harry's tip: Survie
Kalpana is classy and the one to beat, but she is probably best over further and could prove vulnerable. The one who appeals is French raider Survie, who reappeared with a good second behind last year's Arc runner-up Aventure in the Prix Corrida last month. She landed the Prix de Malleret last year over the Arc course and distance, but is not short of speed, as she showed when finishing well to go down by just a head in the Prix de Diane last June. She'll be suited by the ground and looks overpriced.
3.45 Newcastle
Pertemps Network Handicap, 7f
Harry's tip: Telemark
Telemark caught the eye on his all-weather debut over 6f here last month, as he was travelling well before being denied a clear run in a race in which it paid to be close to the pace. A three-time 7f winner, he shaped as if a return to this distance would suit but hasn't had ideal conditions in two starts since, given his best form has come with plenty of give in the ground. He's now just 2lb higher than when winning at Doncaster in September and has potential back on the all-weather.
