'He just can't be ignored off this mark' - Harry Wilson returns with his fancies for every race on day three of York's Dante meeting

Our tipster marks your card for the ITV action at York and Newbury on Friday

Harry Wilson returns with his advice for all seven races from day three of York's Dante meeting on Friday – plus the race live on ITV from Newbury . . .

2.10 York
Clipper EBF Marygate Fillies' Stakes (Listed), 5f

Harry's tip: Harry's Girl

Karl Burke has a good record in this race and Love Olivia warrants respect, but the form of her debut win hasn't worked out and it's best to side with Harry's Girl. She came from the back to win a good Newmarket maiden last month, showing a good turn of foot, and should improve for the experience, given she showed signs of greenness.

2.25 Newbury
Titan Wealth Handicap, 1m2f

Harry's tip: Into Battle

Into Battle was an eyecatcher on his reappearance at Haydock last month, still travelling well but not getting a clear run for much of the final three furlongs before keeping on well towards the finish. He was a good fifth in the London Gold Cup over this course and distance last year, a race that has worked out extremely well, and should be a force off the same mark as last time.

2.42 York
Knights Solicitors Handicap, 1m2½f

Harry's tip: Salamanca

Salamanca benefited from a fine front-running ride to win on All-Weather Championships finals day, beating a well-treated rival in the process. He still looks well handicapped after a 4lb rise, given he went down by just a neck at Newmarket to Endless Victory (rated 102) before a very respectable fifth in the Lingfield Derby Trial behind subsequent Epsom runner-up Ambiente Friendly last year, and should have no problem transferring his improvement back to turf.

3.13 York
Sky Bet Fillies' Stakes (Listed), 1m

Harry's tip: Consecrated

Consecrated, a daughter of Frankel who is related to several winners, looked a smart prospect when landing a Newbury maiden last month, settling well in front and stretching nicely clear without her rider getting too serious. The form has been franked, with the third and fourth both successful since, and the step to a mile should bring about even more improvement.

3.45 York
Boodles Yorkshire Cup Stakes (Group 2), 1m6f

Harry's tip: Rebel's Romance

Rebel's Romance has never run over a trip this far, but I don't think another couple of furlongs is going to cause him any bother, given his ability to settle. He's a seven-time Group 1 winner and has run to a Racing Post Rating of 120 or more on eight occasions, and that figure would've been good enough to win all of the last ten runnings (Stradivarius also ran to 120 in 2019). He won the Amir Trophy in Bahrain on his first start this year, getting the better of Huxley Stakes winner The Foxes, and finished ahead of dual Yorkshire Cup winner Giavellotto in the Sheema Classic in Meydan when last seen. He should be too good.

4.15 York
Irish Thoroughbred Marketing Handicap, 5f

Harry's tip: Loom

Loom ran well for a long way in a strong 6f handicap at Newmarket last month, not being helped by bumping into the two rivals either side of him who were challenging for the lead, while he was also hit on the nose by a rival's whip. He was entitled to need that first run in 300 days anyway, but I'm sure he's a better horse over the minimum trip. He was too good for the now 88-rated Artagnan in a 5f novice at Ripon in June last year, when taking a lead before powering clear, and was beaten less than four lengths in the Group 2 Norfolk Stakes at Royal Ascot on his only two goes at this trip. He can build on his reappearance off what looks to be a workable mark now dropping in distance.

4.55 York
Darley EBF "Confined" Novice Stakes, 1m

Harry's tip: Bowmark

Bowmark was an impressive winner of a mile novice at Kempton in December, travelling kindly and quickening up in the manner of a good one to win comfortably by four and a half lengths. The form is nothing special, but his time compared favourably enough with the Listed race won by Poker Face later on the card to suggest he could be potentially smart, and showed just that when going down by a neck in a Listed race to a useful one at Newcastle last month. The Gosdens have won this the last twice and he should be too good for these even under a penalty.

5.30 York
Yorkshire Equine Practice Handicap, 7f

Harry's tip: Mums Tipple

Mums Tipple is off a career-low mark of 78 and just can't be ignored at a track at which he bolted up by 11 lengths in a sales race as a juvenile. He hasn't been at his best in three runs on the all-weather this year, but it does mean that he is fit and he's now 18lb lower than when beaten little more than two lengths in a competitive Newmarket handicap this time last year. He gets on well with Alec Voikhansky, who hasn't ridden him since looking unlucky in a Lingfield handicap in March last year, and he's absolutely slung in if finding some form at a track he likes.
