Rogue Temptation has performed well since being upped to 6f, winning a Haydock novice in good fashion before dead-heating for second in a strong race at Ripon last month (winner and runner-up were fourth and seventh in a Group 2 next time). An opening mark of 82 doesn't look beyond her on that evidence, especially with the extra half-furlong promising to suit.

Jel Pepper boasts strong form, having finished a good third behind subsequent Vintage Stakes winner Zavateri in the Group 2 July Stakes. He can have his latest effort marked up, given he fared much the best of the low-drawn runners in a similar event at Naas. He won on soft ground on his debut, so won't mind any rain, and has a standout chance at the weights.

She has a bit to find on ratings, but the third that day has since been runner-up in a Listed race, so the form looks solid. The step up to a mile should suit based on her pedigree.

He could prove underestimated by an opening mark of 85, especially with more improvement looking likely over this longer trip.
