Harry Wilson has fired in 7-2, 5-1 and 6-5 winners on day three of Glorious Goodwood - find out the rest of his Thursday tips

Our tipster had a 9-2 winner on Wednesday and now marks your card for the big-race action on Thursday

Harry Wilson returns with his advice for all eight races on the third day of Glorious Goodwood on Thursday

1.20 Goodwood
Coral Kincsem Handicap, 1m2f

Harry's tip: Best Secret

Best Secret showed good form in France, chasing home the useful Parachutiste before impressively winning a handicap at Longchamp in April, and was snapped up by Wathnan ahead of Royal Ascot, where he caught the eye finishing third in the Golden Gates Handicap. He still had plenty to do when short of room as the front two made their move but made up lots of ground, despite having to weave his way through traffic to be beaten a length. He’s posted progressive RPRs with each run and can defy a 5lb higher mark granted more luck in running.

1.55 Goodwood
Markel Richmond Stakes (Group 2), 6f

Harry's tip: Coppull

Coppull was a cosy winner on his debut at Leicester and that form could hardly have worked out better, as he had seven subsequent winners behind him. He was a good third in the Coventry last time, keeping on best of those on the near side rail, and comes into this race fresher than most of his rivals, which could prove an advantage.

2.30 Goodwood
HKJC World Pool Gordon Stakes (Group 3), 1m4f

Harry's tip: Galveston

Galveston has taken his form up a notch since wearing blinkers, comfortably winning a rated race at Naas in May before a fine front-running third in the King Edward VII Stakes at Royal Ascot. That effort can be marked up as he increased the pace markedly after halfway, so he did well to hang around as long as he did. Those forcing tactics will be better suited to this track and he could take some pegging back.

3.05 Goodwood
Qatar Nassau Stakes (Group 1), 1m2f

Harry's tip: Whirl

See The Fire, last year's runner-up, is better this time around and is a big player, but she'll likely struggle to concede 9lb to improving three-year-old Whirl. Her Oaks second has been franked by the winner, who has landed the Irish equivalent since, while her Pretty Polly victory received a big boost when runner-up Kalpana filled the same position in the King George and Queen Elizabeth Stakes on Saturday. She's unbeaten in two starts at this distance and should have even more to come.

3.45 Goodwood
Buccellati Handicap, 5f

Harry's tip: Marty Hopkirk

Marty Hopkirk is all speed and has proved a lot better suited to this trip since finishing down the field over a furlong further on his debut, posting progressive RPRs on his last three starts. He got the better of a subsequent dual winner when landing a Wolverhampton novice in May and was far from disgraced in finishing fifth in the Listed Scurry Stakes before going down by just a neck on his handicap debut last time. That was a great effort considering he was running into a headwind and a 2lb rise looks more than fair.

4.20 Goodwood
Phase Eight Nursery Handicap, 7f

Harry's tip: Victorious One

Victorious One has finished second on all three starts and has been turned over at odds-on the last two times, but all his form is working out and he could make an impact now handicapping off what looks a good mark. He was best of the rest on his debut behind Jel Pepper, who has since finished third in the July Stakes, before bumping into subsequent Vintage Stakes fourth Goodwood Galaxy at Salisbury next time, while his neck defeat at Epsom last time came behind one who had finished behind dual Group 2 winner Zavateri. He could be a lot better than his opening mark of 85.

4.55 Goodwood
Tatler British EBF Maiden Fillies' Stakes, 7f

Harry's tip: Uncertainty

Uncertainty caught the eye on her debut at Newbury three weeks ago, making good headway from the back to take second, despite looking green and meeting trouble in the run. She should come forward for that initial experience and is bred to relish this longer distance.

5.30 Goodwood
World Pool Bet With The Tote Handicap, 1m

Harry's tip: Sir Paul Ramsey

Sir Paul Ramsey has taken time to fulfil the promise he showed on his debut, but he benefited from the return to a mile when romping home by three and a quarter lengths at Hamilton last time, travelling strongly before seeing off an improver. He's been raised 9lb but is well bred – he's a half brother to Lennox Stakes winner Sandrine – and should have more to offer over a more suitable trip.
