Harry's tip: Vincenzo Peruggia
Big Fun ran a race full of promise on his debut at Pontefract and is respected with more improvement likely, but I'd rather chance newcomer Vincenzo Peruggia, who Amo Racing bought for 550,000gns as a yearling at Book 1. He's by Lope De Vega, whose progeny tend to appreciate ease underfoot, and although his future probably lies over further, that implied stamina could serve him well.

Happy 80th Birthday Richard Hannon Snr British EBF Novice Stakes, 6f
Harry's tip: Orion's Belt
This is a race Richard Hannon tends to target and, given the sponsorship of this year's contest, he looks certain to have had one lined up again. French Affair has had a couple of runs and could go well, but Hannon won this in 2022 and 2024 with newcomers and it could be telling that Sean Levey is jocked up on debutant Orion's Belt, a 105,000gns yearling by Starman.

Sky Bet Extra Places Every Day Handicap, 6f
Harry's tip: Cabelleroso
Cabelleroso was said to have been unsuited by the quick ground when disappointing at Chester last month and looks worth another chance having been gelded since, as he looks well handicapped on the pick of his form. He chased home Coventry third Columnist on his debut, with a couple of subsequent winners behind, and the form of his Chelmsford win in a first-time hood has been well advertised since, with the second winning a handicap off a mark of 80 on Thursday and the third now rated 86. A son of Lope De Vega, he could have plenty of untapped potential on a slightly easier surface and can prove his last run all wrong.
4.30 Salisbury
Darley EBF Fillies' Novice Stakes, 1m2f
Harry's tip: Quamby
The two William Haggas-trained newcomers look the part on paper and are respected, but Quamby makes most appeal. She was held up off a steady gallop in a Wetherby novice last month, conceding ground and first run to the winner, and did well to be beaten just half a length by Victoria Harbour, who franked the form when following up in a Listed contest (the third has also won since). This scopey sort was well clear of the third that day and can go one better.

Sky Bet, For The Fans Handicap, 1m5f
Harry's tip: Alnayef
Alnayef ran by far his best race for previous connections at Kempton in October when fitted with first-time cheekpieces, chasing home the now 100-rated French Master, albeit beaten six lengths. He was an eyecatching fourth over course and distance on his stable debut for Jim Goldie last month, making good late headway, and was again doing all his best work late on back there later that month. The cheekpieces return for the first time and he's on a very good mark.
5.00 Salisbury
Mercedes-Benz Of Salisbury Handicap, 7f
Harry's tip: Crimson Spirit
Crimson Spirit has run a few good races without winning since entering handicaps, latterly coming from further back than the two who beat him at York last month. He was entitled to need that first run in 261 days and should take a step forward. He looks a winner in waiting.

Sky Bet Build A Bet Handicap, 5f
Harry's tip: Blue Day
Blue Day had raced solely over six furlongs before winning comfortably on his first try at the minimum distance at Ascot in April, and he went close to making it 2-2 over the trip at Haydock last time, doing well to get within half a length of the winner having blown the start. Those outings have come on good to firm, but he also has form on soft ground so looks versatile, and he could have plenty more to offer at this trip.
5.30 Salisbury
New Hall Hospital Handicap, 1m4f
Harry's tip: Spectacular Style
Spectacular Style has plenty to prove on his first start for Ian Williams, but the trainer has had a few winners recently who were bouncing back from long losing runs and I'm hopeful the return to turf will do the trick. His last six starts for Roger Varian came on the all-weather and he failed to record a higher Racing Post Rating than his lowest turf figure, so he clearly didn't take to it, but he has consequently dropped a long way in the weights. His sole win came at 1-7 in a novice, but he's now 25lb lower than when finishing fourth in a Class 2 Newmarket handicap in September 2023 and will take all the beating if rediscovering any of his old turf form.

Sky Bet Proud To Support ROR Fillies' Handicap, 1m1f
Harry's tip: Lunar Eclipse
Lunar Eclipse managed only two starts for Kevin Ryan last year after joining from David Simcock, for whom she made a winning a debut on heavy ground at Newmarket in November 2023, beating a few subsequent winners including the now 102-rated Fair Point. She was beaten only half a length on her handicap/stable debut on soft ground at Newmarket in October and is just 1lb higher here, having finished sixth behind the smart Estrange in a Listed contest next time and not taking to the all-weather on her reappearance in April. She is still lightly raced and could well have more to offer returned to conditions that suit.
6.15 Hamilton
Sky Bet Club Handicap, 6f
Harry's tip: Brazilian Rose
Brazilian Rose thrived over this trip on the all-weather at Newcastle in January, comfortably completing a hat-trick in 15 days, and she's caught the eye on a couple of occasions since. She looked likely to land a competitive Class 2 contest over a furlong further on All-Weather Championships Finals day before tiring late on under a forceful ride and travelled strongly but found herself too far back from a wide draw over that trip on turf at Haydock last month. She faced a tough ask in a Listed contest last time, but this represents a big drop in class and she showed promise on easier ground as a juvenile. She travels like a good horse and this mark doesn't look beyond her.

Sky Bet Price Boosts Apprentice Handicap, 1m3f
Harry's tip: Dandy's Angel
Dandy's Angel rattled off a hat-trick in testing conditions in the autumn and she has run solely on quicker ground since, but she shaped as if she was coming to form when second in a 1m2f handicap at Beverley last month, staying on after looking a touch outpaced. She will relish the return to easier ground.
