Harry Wilson returns with his advice for all seven races from Cheltenham on Friday, plus the three live races on ITV from Doncaster

1.15 Cheltenham
William Hill Each Way Extra Handicap Hurdle, 2m4f

Harry's tip: French Ship

French Ship showed good form last season, notably finishing fourth behind subsequent Grade 1 winner The New Lion in November. He was well supported on his handicap debut at Chepstow on his reappearance and was looking a real threat until stumbling and falling just after three out. He can make amends off an unchanged mark.

1.33 Doncaster
William Hill Each Way Extra Handicap, 6f

Harry's tip: Fine Interview

Fine Interview responded well to cheekpieces when landing a 6f handicap on soft ground at Pontefract last time. He has a win and a neck third from two starts over this course and distance, which resulted in his best two RPRs. A 3lb rise for last time shouldn't be beyond him.

1.50 Cheltenham
Holland Cooper 'Chasing Excellence' Novices' Chase, 2m

Harry's tip: Alnilam

Alnilam put in a good round of jumping from the front to see off the reopposing Country Mile on his chasing debut at Uttoxeter this month. He's entitled to come on for that first start in 184 days and, with his sure-footedness a big asset at this course, he can confirm that form on 5lb worse terms.

2.08 Doncaster
British Stallion Studs EBF Maiden Stakes, 1m

Harry's tip: Affettuoso

Arbaawy has form on soft ground and may make his experience count, but he's facing three well-bred newcomers and one may prove too good. Of those, the one most likely to handle conditions is Affettuoso, who is by New Bay out of a Group-placed mare who scored for these connections on her debut on heavy ground.

2.25 Cheltenham
Foundation Developments Conditional Jockeys Handicap Hurdle, 2m½f

Harry's tip: Norman Fletcher

Norman Fletcher looked in need of his reappearance in the Welsh Champion Hurdle last time when he unusually made the running. He can be expected to take a step forward as his record second time out after a break reads 121. He has also dropped to 1lb below his most recent winning mark and can go one better than last year's runner-up finish.

3.00 Cheltenham
Oddschecker Novices' Hurdle (Grade 2), 2m½f

Harry's tip: Un Sens A La Vie

Un Sens A La Vie has the markings of a smart prospect, having won a point-to-point and a bumper before following up with a ready success on his hurdling debut at Market Rasen. He was novicey at a couple of hurdles, so there is likely much more to come. He can take this step up in class in his stride.

3.18 Doncaster
William Hill Best Odds Guaranteed Handicap, 7f

Harry's tip: Grey's Monument

Grey’s Monument bounced back to form when fourth in a Listed event at Redcar this month, despite the ground being quicker than ideal. His two most recent wins came on his last runs over 7f on testing ground, including an Ascot handicap off 2lb higher. Add in Jack Dace's useful 5lb claim and everything looks right.

3.35 Cheltenham
squareintheair.com Handicap Chase, 2m

Harry's tip: Brookie

Brookie took a huge step forward in the spring, following a comfortable handicap victory with a close second in the Grade 1 Maghull Novices' Chase at Aintree in April. He looks progressive enough to deal with a big rise in the weights and this could be a good time to catch him, given he has form figures of 1P11 (P came on only try in blinkers) after breaks of 60 days or more since joining Anthony Honeyball.

4.10 Cheltenham
Champions: Full Gallop Streaming On ITVX Novices' Hurdle, 2m4f

Harry's tip: Dalston Lad

Dalston Lad was deserted by Harry Skelton when finishing down the field in Cheltenham's Champion Bumper, but he'd looked a useful before that when winning two bumpers at a shade of odds-on. A winning pointer, he looks a nice jumping prospect.

4.45 Cheltenham
Santa - The Visit Amateur Jockeys' Handicap Chase, 3m1f

Harry's tip: Kalanisi Flash

Kalanisi Flash shaped with a good degree of promise on his chasing debut over an inadequate trip at Downpatrick in August, and that form has been franked by the winner, who subsequently landed a Listed event at Chepstow. A dual winning pointer who won a Downpatrick maiden hurdle over 2m6f, this unexposed sort could have a lot more to offer now stepping up in trip.
