Love Island daily: show fallout, market moves and betting odds

All the last news from the villa

What's happening

It's on. It's back on again. Michael and Amber. They are back on again.

Just when it seemed the Geordie nail technician was finally over the Scouse firefighter, he's had a change of heart.

It's nothing to do with the fact that he cooked his goose when he elected not to join departing Joanna in leaving the villa after she was voted off at the beginning of the week.

She called him a snake so the chances of them hooking up when the cameras stop rolling look pretty remote.

And, of course, it's nothing to do with the fact that Amber was selecting by dashing rugby player Greg from Limerick for a date on the Hideaway terrace.

So we were left with Michael pulling Amber for a chat and it was a good job she was sitting on a sofa because she would have fallen off her feet.

The one-time second favourites could be back in the game, and Ovie could be in for a strong ten days too as we career towards the show's climax a week on Monday.

The basketball player has made a big impression on new girl India and there was footage of a kiss on the terrace. If he's found love, there is still time for the likeable Londoner to make an impression.

Scottish gym bunny Anton was not seen in the episode after reports that he had been taken ill, but there was a statement that he has since returned to the villa.

Betting moves

Tommy and Molly-Mae were 1-8 to claim the £50,000 first prize at the beginning of the week, but 1-2 was available on Thursday afternoon.

Michael and Amber have been slashed to 13-2 after last night's episode, while Curtis and Maura, who appeared to be up to all sorts of high jinks on the outside bed, are gaining popularity at 7-1.

The without Tommy and Molly-Mae market is looking particularly competitive, with Michael and Amber 9-4, Curtis and Maura 5-2, and Anton and Belle 4-1.

What might happen next?

Tommy and Molly-Mae might not be able to rest on their laurels. Although they are love's young dream there could be a danger that it all becomes a bit boring, so they could be vulnerable.

Viewers will surely have mixed opinions about Amber, while Michael's efforts to get back into her good books may be a bit desperate. Perhaps he's spent the prize money already.

Maura's personality means she will get plenty of coverage in the next few days, but it will be interesting to see how Ovie's love life develops. He could still be a factor.
