Neil Robertson looks a worthy favourite to claim his second Masters title but the Thunder from Down Under could be given a harder time than the odds suggest against an in-form Barry Hawkins in this afternoon's final.

Robertson battled back from 5-3 down to beat Mark Williams 6-5 in the semi-finals, having knocked out seven-time Masters champion Ronnie O'Sullivan in the previous round.

That should have the Aussie high on confidence, but there are reasons to think Hawkins can make a game of it against the 2012 Masters hero.

World number ten Hawkins won five straight frames in a 6-2 win over Shaun Murphy in the first round before dismantling world champion Mark Selby 6-1 next time out.

The Hawk edged out pre-tournament favourite Judd Trump in a see-saw semi-final showdown that saw the 2016 Masters finalist compile a 124 break.

Roberston has bossed the recent head-to-head between the pair, but in longer-format matches Hawkins has fared better. Take the Hawk with a start of 2.5 frames on the handicap in this first-to-ten contest.
