Match preview

West Indies are understandably 1-8 to clinch their three-ODI series with Ireland at the earliest opportunity in Barbados on Thursday.

The Windies won the first match by five wickets at the Kensington Oval on Tuesday with Evin Lewis slamming 99 not out after Alzarri Joseph took 4-32 as Andrew Balbirnie's men were restricted to 180.

The best-value bet in game two looks to be Lewis's opening partner and team wicket-keeper Shai Hope to get 57 or more performance points.

One point is gained for each run, ten points are pouched for each catch and 25 points are awarded for each stumping and Hope's make-up in game one was 78 courtesy of four catches, a stumping and 13 runs.

Tuesday's knock was a rare current limited-overs failure at the crease for Hope, whose seven previous one-day and T20 innings were all of 42 or more. The standout effort was 102 not out against India in Chennai last month.
