Match preview

This is a repeat of last year's Coral Challenge Cup final in which Warrington ran out 18-4 winners.

The Wolves have had the better of it in recent fixtures and have limited Saints to just four points in their last two meetings - winning 19-0 and 18-4 - and this could be an equally-tight affair at the AJ Bell Stadium in Salford.

St Helens will want revenge for that Wembley failure but they'll also be keen to improve on their record in this competition as a wole having not lifted the trophy since 2008 but this is as tough a fixture as it gets.

Chris Hill, Joe Philbin and Jack Hughes return for Warrington but Gareth Widdop misses out, while Mark Percival and Lewis Dodd return for the Saints. .

Both sides are on top form having won their last five matches and in a clash that could go either way the Wolves look the bet with a six-point start on the handicap.

Hull FC v Wigan Warriors

Where to watch

BBC2, 5pm Saturday

Best bet

Wigan -8
2pts 10-11 Sky Bet

Match preview

These two have an illustrious history in this competition having lifted the trophy 24 times between them, but it is Wigan who could strengthen their claims for more glory.

Hull FC had to play two games in four days last week, winning against Wakefield and Castleford despite a lengthy injury list. They are boosted by the return of Marc Sneyd, but Jamie Shaul, Albert Kelly, Ratu Naulago, Adam Swift and Kieran Buchanan all miss out.

Joe Bullock and George Burgess are ruled out for the Warriors, who are looking to build on last week's impressive Betfred Super League win at Catalans Dragons - their fourth victory in the last five games.

Wigan often enjoy these fixtures and have beaten the Black & Whites in five of their last six meetings. They should continue their recent dominance to seal a place in the last four.
