The form team in the Betfred Super League take on the poorest side in the competition on Saturday (3pm) and things could get messy when Catalans Dragons take on Leigh at the Leigh Sports Village.

The French raiders are flying having won seven of their eight fixtures, and, having ended the unbeaten records of St Helens and Wigan in their last two outings, they arrive in Lancashire with the added incentive of going top of the pile with another victory.

And it is hard to see how Leigh can stop them having lost all nine of their matches this season.

The Centurions are scoring just over 13 points per game and conceding well over 35.

The Dragons, on the other hand, are scoring for fun yet keeping the backdoor shut against even the best teams as their 48-0 hammering of Wigan, who were top of the table at the time, in their latest outing shows.

Only Warrington (52) have scored more tries than Catalans (42) this season, while only St Helens have shipped fewer points than the 112 the Dragons have conceded in their eight matches.

A long afternoon looks likely for Leigh who may need more than the 16-point start handed to them on the match handicap.
