Best Premier League bet

Leicester v Crystal Palace BT Sport 1, 12.30pm Saturday

Leicester continue to frustrate their supporters with their Champions League attacking play and Sunday league defending and the Foxes have to be taken on at home to Crystal Palace this weekend.

The Premier League's bottom club earned a first win of the campaign in their last home match, thrashing fellow strugglers Nottingham Forest 4-0, and Patson Daka gave them a tenth-minute lead at Bournemouth last weekend.

However, Leicester conceded two goals in the space of four minutes in the second half to lose 2-1 on the south coast – the fourth time in their last seven league games that they have been beaten after taking the lead.

The Foxes also blew a 2-0 lead to draw 2-2 at home to Brentford in their season opener and they are vulnerable favourites against a savvy Palace side with the counter-attacking quality to hurt their gung-ho hosts.

Patrick Vieira's men have picked up only nine points from eight games but that includes defeats to Arsenal, Manchester City and Chelsea as well as away draws at Liverpool and Newcastle and their performances in those tough fixtures mean they are a tempting price to deepen the gloom at Leicester.

Best EFL bet

Bolton v Barnsley 3pm Saturday

Bolton and Barnsley have identical records after 12 games of the League One season and defences could dominate Saturday's clash between these well-matched rivals.

Under 2.5 goals has been a winning bet in ten of Bolton's 12 league outings and, after a strong start to the campaign, their progress has been stalled by 1-0 defeat at Cheltenham and Forest Green.

The Trotters had racked up four straight victories before their mini-slump, keeping clean sheets in three of them, but they may struggle to rediscover their scoring touch against Barnsley.

The Tykes have won to nil in their last three away matches, at Sheffield Wednesday, Cambridge United and Fleetwood, but they lost 2-0 at home to Exeter last weekend and can expect a cagey contest at Bolton.

Best European bet

Napoli v Bologna BT Sport 2, 5pm Sunday

While Liverpool were putting seven goals past Rangers on Wednesday night, Napoli sealed qualification from Group A of the Champions League with a 4-2 home win over Ajax.

Napoli have scored 17 goals in their four European wins, including a 4-1 rout of Liverpool, and another high-scoring success looks likely against Bologna in Serie A on Sunday.

The visitors have made a poor start to the season despite a decent run of fixtures and their 3-0 defeat at Juventus on October 2 does not bode well for their trip to Naples.

Four of Napoli's five league wins against teams outside the top eight have featured over 3.5 goals and their formidable attacking unit has been strengthened by the return to fitness of striker Victor Osimhen, who came off the bench to score the final goal against Ajax.

Weekend accumulators

Banker
Chelsea
The Blues have won their last four games, including home and away successes against Italian champions Milan, and after three straight clean sheets, their defence should keep limited hosts Aston Villa quiet.

Blowout
Fulham
Fulham's Championship meetings with Bournemouth last season both ended 1-1 and the Cherries, unbeaten in five Premier League games since Scott Parker's departure, can avoid defeat again.

Accumulator
Chelsea 4-5, Napoli 1-4, Sheffield Wednesday 7-10, Valencia 4-9. £1 accumulator returns £5.51 with Coral.

Both teams to score
Games at Burnley 17-20, Empoli 4-5, Lazio 8-13. £1 treble returns £5.39 with Hills.
