United odds-on to lift FA Cup after beating Spurs in semi

Manchester United are 8-11 to win the FA Cup after coming from behind to beat Tottenham 2-1 in the first semi-final at Wembley.

Dele Alli, a 9-1 chance to score first, gave Spurs the lead but his goal was soon cancelled out by Alexis Sanchez and Ander Herrera scored the winner in the second half.

The 2-1 United win had been 11-1 before kick-off and the Red Devils will face the winners of Sunday's clash between Chelsea and Southampton in the final.

Chelsea are 13-8 second-favourites to lift the trophy with the Saints 14-1 outsiders of three.

Crystal Palace edged nearer to Premier League survival with a 0-0 draw at Watford while bottom club West Brom came from 2-0 down to draw 2-2 at home to Liverpool.

Danny Ings gave the Reds a fourth-minute lead and their advantage was extended in the second half by Mo Salah's 31st league goal of the season. However, Jake Livermore and Salomon Rondon scored late goals to earn the Baggies a draw – an outcome that had traded at 100-1 in-play.

Sunderland were relegated from the Sky Bet Championship after losing 2-1 at home to fellow strugglers Burton.

The Black Cats, who had been 16-1 for back-to-back relegations at the start of the season, were leading 1-0 with five minutes of normal time remaining but the Brewers struck through former Sunderland man Darren Bent and Liam Boyce.

Wigan and Luton were prominent in the ante-post markets in Sky Bet Leagues One and Two and the pair both sealed promotion on Saturday.

Wigan, who thumped Fleetwood 4-0, had been 11-4 to go up while the Hatters – 13-8 second-favourites for promotion at the start of term – drew 1-1 at Carlisle.

Macclesfield will be back in the Sky Bet Football League in 2018-19 after clinching the National League title with a 2-0 win at Eastleigh.

The Silkmen, who were relegated from League Two in 2011-12, were 28-1 shots to win the division at the start of the season. Tranmere, 3-1 ante-post favourites for the National League, are second so will have to take their chances in a six-team playoff.
