AFC Fylde too hot for Maidstone

Tranmere will be looking to keep their slim hopes of automatic promotion alive but a place in the expanded six-team playoffs is not yet a certainty and Aldershot have a chance to leapfrog the hosts with a win at Prenton Park.

But the Shots have been out of sorts, winning just three of their last ten games, and Tranmere should have enough quality to take the three points. However, it could be a cagey affair with both sides keeping an eye on results elsewhere.

Fellow highflyers AFC Fylde will be looking to capitalise on their playoff rivals’ clash when they visit struggling Maidstone.

Maidstone have not won in their last six and are hovering dangerously close to the relegation zone, while Fylde have been victorious in their last four and should have few problems continuing that trend.

Barrow will be desperate to build on their midweek 3-2 win over Eastleigh as they look to climb out of the drop zone.

The Bluebirds are one point from safety with games in hand, but Ebbsfleet are in fine form having won six of their last nine and they could be too strong for their hosts.
