Defender Julian Borner could return after missing the West Brom defeat with a dead leg.

Match preview

Swansea's hopes of a Sky Bet Championship playoff spot have been dented by a 1-0 home defeat to lowly Luton and a 1-1 draw at Millwall and the Swans desperately need to take maximum points against Sheffield Wednesday.

The Owls' squad has been depleted by the departures of five senior players who failed to agree contract extensions and Garry Monk's men were outclassed in a 3-0 defeat to West Brom last time out.

The Wednesday defence should be wary of Swansea forward Rhian Brewster. The Liverpool loanee has scored seven goals in 13 starts and earned the equaliser at Millwall when his free kick hit the crossbar and went in off keeper Bartosz Bialkowski.
